AHGSU (Graduate Student Organization)

Welcome to AHGSU! The Association of Historians at Georgia State University is a graduate student organization dedicated to the ongoing professional development of students, alumni and faculty of Georgia State University. The association’s primary purpose is to facilitate the professional efforts of its members in teaching, publishing, participation in conferences, obtaining funding, and scholarly research. Furthermore, the association serves as a professional network to foster the exchange of ideas amongst its members. It is our hope the cumulative effect of these activities will improve the standing of the history program at Georgia State University in the professional community.

All graduate students are invited to join AHGSU – you can participate in great events and take advantage of grant opportunities. We also welcome faculty and alumni to become “Friends of AHGSU.”
