Bachelor of Arts in History

Areas of Study: Georgia State University’s Bachelor of Arts in History offers students a broad-based and culturally-relevant course of study. As a student in our program, you have several choices in your major.

  • Bachelor of Arts in History
  • World History Concentration
  • Pre-Education Track
  • Pre-Law Concentration

For the broadest curriculum options, consider the Bachelor of Arts in History. If you are interested in an in-depth look at world history and culture, our world history concentration will prepare you for careers and graduate programs that require understanding of global contexts. If you would like to pursue teaching as a career, our pre-education track will have you well-prepared to enter any master’s-level certification program.

Declaring the Major:  Students can declare or change their major in consultation with the Academic Advisement Office.
