A veteran of the U.S. Navy (1965-69), Mr. McBath has taught for a span of 37 years in the History Department, as well as serving in several University administrative positions, including as Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services and Interim Assistant Dean of Students. The Tidewater Virginian has lived primarily in Midtown Atlanta since 1980. Mr. McBath has travelled internationally for more than six decades, primarily in Asia and Europe: his favourite places are Virginia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Tuscany, Italy.
