Congratulations to Nick Wilding, winner of the MLA’s Scaglione Prize!

We are proud to announce that Nick Wilding’s book, Galileo’s Idol: Gianfrancesco Sagredo and the Politics of Knowledge (University of Chicago Press, 2014), has been awarded the Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for Italian Studies by the MLA. Wilding is currently a Mellon Foundation Fellow at the New York Public Library where he is continuing his research on book forgery; his new book, Faussaire de Lune was published by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France in December 2015.
