Congratulations to Professor Glenn Eskew, who received the Hugh McCall Award from the Georgia Association of Historians at its 2015 annual conference in Statesboro. Given once every three years, the award recognizes outstanding achievement in scholarship, teaching, and encouragement of the study of history–all areas in which Dr. Eskew has distinguished himself. Previous winners of the McCall award include John Inscoe of the University of Georgia, Edward Cashin of Augusta State University, and our esteemed former colleague, the late Gary Fink.
